After thinking about it some, (and my favorite of the actors is still Tom Selleck), I would have to add Roy Boehm and Chesty Puller. And Lee Marvin would fit both hero and film categories.
Roy Boehm was the first Navy Seal, Chesty Puller commanded the Marine Battalion on "Heartbreak Ridge", battle of Guadalcanal, and Lee Marvin gets alot of respect because he went up Iwo Jima hill. Come to think of it, anybody who was on Iwo Jima is my hero, man's man!
I wish there was a "salute" smiley face.
