I used Thermo-tec and got the thinner one in black but its all personal preference really. I bought one roll and unrolled it and cut it in half so I would have the same amount for each pipe. The trick is to spray it with a bottle of water on a fine mist spray as you wrap the pipes so you can get it really tight. I used stainless clamps on each end to hold it. When you are finished you need to cook it before you ride it and there will be smoke. Eventually it gets less and then you can ride it. For about a week there will be smoke when you ride but it goes away after a while. Good Luck.
