i bought these: hard bags i figure if they're total ******, i've only wasted <$150 so... meh. ordered yesterday so this thread will be my attempt at a review in related news: i suppose i'm getting old. i'm turning my trumpet into a bagger. i have an sv for hauling ass, i guess this one's for hauling other junk. and by other junk, i'm sure it'll all soon be preparation h and pajamas. good thing the seat is comfy as hell..

i think someone here has those and will chime in with hints. What do you think that hump is behind the drivers seat - looks very racey.

Those bags don't look very big at all. Not sure you'l be able to put much in them.
That "hump" is just a cover that goes over the seat on Bonnevilles and Thruxtons.

I bought 3 pair before settling on the Tsukayu. Awesome bags but pricy. the first 2 pairs wouldn't hold a riding jacket but these would no problem. sorry no pic. forgot how. link http://www.tsukayu.com/Strong%20Bonneville%20America.htmlI think Keith has a set. mike

I've never heard/read a bad word about Tsukayu bags. If Corbin made hardbags for our bikes, the Tsukayus would seem super cheap in comparison, because the Corbins wouldn't be any better quality.
People also like their LeatherLyke bags, and they are cheaper, but I don't like the look of them as much.

They may not hold much, but I like them. I am interested to see how they look on our bikes.

Here's another option. Good storage. Watertight. Nice curve to match rear fender when going solo. BB Reproductions http://www.bbreproductions.com/bags.htm

Those look great, John mentioned leather/ leatherlike and Tsukayu has leather covered fiberglass bags too, sharp looking.
