Somebody around here a while back(I wish I could remember who) has said he's very pleased with the Norman Hyde center stand he's bolted on his bike. I remember him saying that it was not only a few bucks cheaper than the Rivco model(this, even after the U.K. to U.S. shipping charges involved), but most especially that he's finding the Norman Hyde model isn't grounding while in turns, which seems to be a common complaint about the Rivco model by many of the folks who have those on their bikes.

(...in fact, didn't somebody with a Rivco stand recently remove his and sold it in the Classified forum around here because of this very issue?)
