Yep Ryk, another good point there.

However, apparently you fail to realize that "Beginner Bikes" should be priced as low as possible, and thus this doesn't allow manufacturers to bolt DECENT friggin' suspension units to their OTHERWISE well engineered(though slightly UNDER-powered) model line!

Yep, the point IS Mister Bloor(and Boyz) that I'll BETCHA there are MANY MANY MANY folks out there who would(or WOULD HAVE) paid a couple thousand more bucks(like say up to, $10 Grand) for a brand new and bone stock FROM the factory Triumph motorcycle like these babies, but which would handle with the best of 'em out there(without wallowing in turns with these lousy friggin' stock shocks and too softly sprung forks), AND which could pass a line of cars EASILY out there on a stretch of two-lane blacktop with just 20 or so more HP!!!!

(...ah, but I fully realize you guys over there in Hinckley will never "get" this whole idea...huh?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
