I had an old shovel for about 6 years and I used to think pain most of the time I rode it. I had an injured back at the time and sold it. 30 years later I'm happy to say no problems riding the Speedmistress.
Haven't done enough K's on a Harley recently to really comment on comfort , I'm just happy on my Triumph.
