I agrre John the brakes are something to be desired, whether it has something to do with the ABS I don't know, but it does not want to pull up.
What I did try when I was riding alone was hitting the brakes as hard as I could and it did not lock up, but seem to take its time pulling up... Time will tell or will I just get used to it....
