I forgot to mention why I live where I live.

Started life in WV, 15 yrs, then to Western NC,six yrs till I joined the service.

I'm a transplant here in TX. My wife (met her in NC) is from SanAntone so I made a visit or two out here, got stationed, in South TX. Fell in love with the hill country.
A short stint in WA state, and back to Ft Worth. Mineral Wells counts as the northern edge of the Hill Country. I did not get to retire "IN" the Hill Country, but I can live with the edge of it.
