I am Thom Williams and I have lived up and down the eastern seaboard (my dad liked to change jobs, a lot). I have been married to the same wonderful girl for 24 years, we met in High School and started dating three days before graduation. We have had three kids, a son Zachary who passed away at 17 months (this plays into where and how I live) and two daughters, now 20 and 17 years old.

I joined the US Air Force right out of HS and spent 6 years on active duty and 4 years of active reserves fixing avionics on cargo airplanes(mostly C-5s but also 141s and 130s and whatever else hit our transient ramp at Dover AFB in DE. I was stationed there when my son passed and after that I got tired of being away from home all the time, so I got out and went to work as a copier repair man for a national company. They soon figured out that I was much better at electronics than the mechanical side of copiers and so I moved into the computer driven microfilm and document imaging systems. This led me to Atlanta to work in our tech support center and then our System Integration group before my Boss (at the time) and I decided to leave and start our own firm in 1999.

Still doing the small business thing. I now write custom software for healthcare and public health (mostly CDC). We stay here because after a long childhood of moving around and then being in the service... I was ready to settle. I moved to Atlanta in 1994 and have lived here longer than anywhere else in my life... making it home.

Thom I might be wrong, I sometimes am.
