G'day all, now I know everyone is getting excited about the OzBam get together in August which I am still hoping to make it there myself but for those of us who have not met yet around the Queensland area maybe a meet and greet before OzBam would be good. Ok I live at Hervey Bay so I thought the Sunny Coast for the meet and greet but happy for other members to suggest somewhere else but the only date's I can get at this time because of work and other commitments is Saturday the 30th of April or the 14th of May which is a Saturday as well. So would anyone be interested to make this meet and greet happen and if so if you live around the Sunny Coast area where would be a good meeting venue cheers.

I'm always up to meeting new members and checking out their bikes too. I live a bit too far away for a quick spin up to the Sunshine coast though Choco. If this one doesn't get off the ground, we're all crossing our fingers you can make OzBam. Failing that though cos life can get complicated at times, the next time I'm up round Bribie way, the amigos generally get together so maybe we can organise a couple o beers then When do you think you'll know whether OzBam is a goer Choco?

Thanks Stacka, yes being new to Triumph it would be good to meet other owners and find out the pro's and con's on these bikes plus just to get together for a social, as for OzBam at this time I still don't know and living off a single wage these days it's a bit hard to plan to far forward but hopefully I make it if not I am sure I will catch up to the other BA members on the road somewhere cheers.

We hope you can make it too Choco. Geez mate, if you can't make this one you can guarantee the Amigos will be meeting up again round Bribie way at some point of time in the not too distant future anyway, and I'm hoping perhaps OzBam will be something we may be able to hold every other year, depending on the how well this one goes. I'm not generally someone that gets involved in bike clubs but because all of us are pretty passionate about our own steeds, I can tell you there's something about TBA, SM and Bonney owners that just works when we get together. I'm sure it's the same OS too.

Hi Bruce, Being retired dates and days don't mean much to me.
Like Benny says a country pub middle distance is fine by me.
Do you want to do the research, somewhere in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland would be great.
Hey Benny maybe we can rope in Kent and Richard.

Thanks everyone for your replies so far, well how does Saturday the 14th or Sunday the 15th of May sound like for the meet and greet and would you guys be ok if it was an open ride to other makes of bikes I sure I can get a few mates to come along but they don't ride Trumpy's.
Ok this is where I will need some help a country pub somewhere in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland sounds good but I don't know the area that well so maybe some members who are close down that way could suggest a good pub.
So I wait and see what dates will suit the other members here and get some idea's where to meet and I will be looking forward to meeting you all cheers.

Ok then if the Bribie Island and Sunshine Coast guys are happy with Saturday the 14th of May for this meet and greet the next question is where, just a suggestion from me somewhere around Maroochydore there are many pubs, clubs and other places that serve up a good counter lunch cheers.

G'day everyone, sorry about how I planned this ride and then had to pull out, I can't go into fully but I had a few health issue's to sort out plus a couple other personal matter's as well.
Well now I can say the health issue is out of the way and looking all good and the other drama's well we all have those, but now I seen the post about All Triumph Day and that has got my interest up being a first time Triumph owner.
I still like to meet some of you and this Triumph Rally may be the place to do it, so if I can make this event I should get there sometime after 10.00am Saturday morning and leave before lunch on Sunday.
I will try hard to make it for this event and I will be camping at the showgrounds Saturday night if I can't find a motel close by so if you are there hopefully we will catch up cheers.

If I'm in the country and not working I'll do my best to get there. Don't hold your breath though - my leave is Aug 1-21 and I'll be overseas then. Still, will keep an eye on this thread.
