Bonneville America Forums Forums Technical Forums Accessories K-Drive saddle bags on a Speedmaster ?

I have a bit of a wish list for what I would like to have fitted on my Speedy and so far bit by bit I have added most of the gear I wanted but now looking at the big ticket item a set of K-Drive saddle bags.

So any members have this saddle bags fitted on there bike and if so what are they like for storage space and any problems with them eg: in wet weather, mounting brackets etc,etc.

I like the idea how the bags lockable to the bike but can be removed by using a key but as I said just on my wish list at this time a bit hard to buy a set with no money but that could change in the next few months so any feedback about these bags will be helpful cheers.

I have the K-Drive large bags. They do lock to the rails but the bags themselves only buckle shut.
The brackets mount quickly and are unobtrusive when you remove the bags.
I don't leave them on when I am not touring but could easily put them on for a pic if you are interested.

Thanks ozspeed if you can post a pic that would be good I seen the K-Drives on other bikes but not on a Speedy cheers.
