Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that the anti-smoking lobyists/crowd are and have been louder than the anti-absestos people even though absestos may be much more hazzardous and real situation. Not to mention it is very politcaly correct/accepted/encouraged to rip on smoking by making assumptions that all cancers and related diseases are a result of smoking. Thus all problems that are related to the lungs or breathing in any shape or form is completely the fault of someone smoking a cigarette somehwere at any point in time... regardless of the facts.
