Hi all, just posted pics of my Corbin that arrived today. No I still can't figure out how to put them in the thread ( hint, hint ). I went with an Indian Brown seat with a black surround. The only problem I see is the bracket is too small to cover all three holes left by my Speedie's gunfighter seat. The salesman also said it shipped with a solo seat bolt.... no bolt came with it. So some of you guys with Speedies take a look and tell me if your bracket is different than mine and if you got a seat bolt. I have a flame fender bib coming from Brent soon and it ships with a solo seat bolt and hopefully it will cover those holes too. I just hope it ships soon ( No pressure, Brent ).... let me know what you guys and gals think.... ride safe.... Gordon

Nice seat Gordon. The fender bib from Brent will definitely cover those bolt holes. I have a stock seat bracket with a solo America seat on mine, plus a Brent fluted fender bib. The fender bib is wider than the seat bracket where they join together.

Derek,Thanks for the info and posting the picture for me. I was a little nervous about ordering a brown seat cover on an all black bike... but I really like it. I am going to have to find a temporary bolt to secure the seat til the bib comes in... any idea of the bolt size???/ Thanks agaiin and ride safe... Gordon

I bought a stainless allen head that I'm pretty sure is 8mm x 1 inch.

I like it! How long did it take you to get a custom order like that from Corbin?

Looks good Gordon, Of course having a (Corbin) brown seat-pillion-backrest, brown saddlebags, brown leathers I better agree . Like you I wasn't sure ordering, but either I got used to it, or it looks OK jh

Throb, I ordered the seat on 2_24_06 and it arrived yesterday ( 3_09). The seat looks alot better in person and seems alot more supportive. Took Bonnyusa's advise and got some graphic stitching done ( Flames). This adds a little additional padding that helps soften the seat up. They still say it takes 1000 - 1500 miles to break in,, we will see.... ride safe... Gordon

Derek and Gooseman, thanks for the info on the bolt. I called the California plant and talked to a rep. They want me to take pictures of the bracket and fender so they can make me a new bracket and from the sounds of it consider it for future orders for Speedies. He seemed really concerned that the other two holes weren't covered for a finished look. He said for three hunded dollars, I should get the best product they can manufacture. I mentioned that word of mouth from this site led me to the purchase and tha were alot more people considering them. Oh well, I will take some pics tonite and see what becomes of it.... ride safe....Gordon

Used to be a guy on the old site that sold solo seat brackets. This was after Dan/Speedmaster(used to be the moderator over on Triumphrat.net twins forum), bought one of the first Corbin solo seats, and they didn't come with a seat bracket. I don't think Triumph sells just the seat bracket either.
