Hello my fellow Triumph riders! I have a '10 (bone stock) Speedy, and am about to run a new exhaust on her. I've been doing my due diligence, and have narrowed it down to two different sets: the Bubs out of British-Customs, or the Chevy 605's ( which I can't seem to find anywhere but on youtube.
Was wondering what the general thought is on these two pipes, or what you might recommend if you had to do it all over again?

Cheers!

Are you on a budget? Can you afford $495 for pipes? Specialty Spares are seriously awesome pipes.

You can have them short or long, slashcut or straightcut, and chrome or blacked out.

Where can you even get chevy 605 pipes? Is a good question.

You used to see Chevy605's pipes a lot on Ebay. I haven't been on there in a while.

And even add different styles of tips to make them your own.

I've been around the Specialty Spares quite a bit and they are awesome... awesome to look at and awesome to hear.

My vote is for the Bubs. I seem to recall someone posting something about how the Bubs were "tuned" for our bikes. There has been some criticism about their QC but I'm reusing the ones that I went down on and they still look and sound great. You have to leeok carefully for the scratches. I get a lot of compliments on the sound. They sing at all speed ranges.

Bubs are nice, too. I still remember riding behind AmyLee in Arizona a few years ago. They sound good.

Thanks for the input! It looks like I'm going to run the Specialty Spares. I did a lot of research and asked around a lot. My end goal on my Speedy is to completely black it out. The pipes are my first step.

Exactly! I can't find them anywhere except old vid's on youtube. I'm guessing they're not available anymore. They sure sound mean, tho...

Did you read my post about custom lengths? Yup, you can get them made up to a length between 30 and 40 inches. Anyway... nice to have you on board with this rare and special run of Specialty Spares.
