I put mine on. It seems to want to work pretty good with my Kuryakyns. all the way inbd, its got the radius of the grip pushing it against the rubber pads and seem to hold. Ive yet to road test it. I will take my "rubber band" (AKA kids bicycle tube cut to size) and test that also. and no worries about wear, Plenty of tube left!
