Technology is a double edged sword. Eventually all vehicles could receive a bill for miles driven on state and federal highways separately. Those sniffers along the road can tell if your car's check engine light is on; the rmv could send you a letter telling you to get it fixed. The future will require some "how much is too much" consideration; dare we trust the govt. to make this decision. How are they doing so far.
