Curiosity got the better of me Gina so I wrote to the Australian Draggin Jeans company and asked if they were affiliated with the US company. Here is their reply:

i started with the person who set up dj in the u.s.
we sell everywhere but there...that was the deal....so i do not sell to dealers in the u.s. but web sales we both do from whereever.
unfortunately he is no longer with us.
our product range and protective lining is now quite different to...look for differences...but they are cheaper.
