back when this was a hot topic, I built my own version of the oil filter cooler and put it on the bike. I pretty much forgot to post anything about until the other day with summer finally here in the mid west jogged my memory. Any how, it works pretty good, keeps me under 200F. It looks big and clunky but does not weigh much at all, lots of whittling! It has a o ring on the inside near the top of the filter and under where the hose clamp is. there is also a .100 dia wire that runs thru the lower part of the cooler and thru the 17 MM hex of the K&N filter.
