 I made up this heat sink a while back, I don't know how effective it is, but it gets pretty warm, don't want to touch it. I like the oil filter heat sink idea. I have been kicking around adding another heat sink to the oil line under the motor just in front of the filter but the filter cooler seems simpler. I am thinking I could make up something with a finned bottom that (as some one suggested) attached to the safety wire holes in the K&N filters. It would be a little bit of whittling, might be work though.
