I still say Triumph should get the He!! away form anything or one associeated W/ HD. Just look at the newer bikes,,, the tanks look like a sporty instead of a Triumph. I LOVE MY CUT IN TANK and I have seen many on here ask "Do you think the old tanks will fit the new bike???" The hard bags on the Rocket and shield look like the same crapola in the HD line.
I really think they are going in a bad direction. I THOUGHT "GO YOUR OWN WAY" was something they ment. Where is Bloor on this? Oh yea I forgot, he actually doesnt like motorcycles and didnt know he bought this wonderfull line of bikes when he purchased Hinkley to make a sub division. He started out great, Ill say that, but he has let bean counters do the rest. What happened to consumer input when it comes to the design of the new bikes? They really did the home work for the Bonnies, T-100s and TBA and Speedmaster. Then they go and stop the whole styling cue that people see first??? Oh then stop the production of COOL tank badges??? The new stuff has "A STICK ON NAME BADGE!" WTF?! I went to my local dealer a month ago. Ill admit the yearning for a new bike was not there. The new ones did not do it for me. The Thunderbird was nice but the tank and block look like S$%T (rhyms with kit).
