According to the trades, Triumph will offer 100% trade-in value on Americas & Speedmasters after a year towards what they term as "a more advanced rider's bike." This is similar to what H-D did with the 883 Sportster recently.
Also, Triumph is cracking down on dealers who advertise discounted prices on or off on the Internet just like H-D.
And they have a new US CEO... formally from H-D/Buell. Who wudda thunk it?
