As I once saind in an earlier post, the TBS and Thrux needles work well if you still have stock pilot jets because they flow a bit more fuel in the mid range and make up for higher flowing modified airboxes and pod filters. If you go up to 45 pilot you may find the TBS and thrux needles to be too rich and may end up back with a shimmed stock needle. Just my experience from playing aound with the carbs on my 07 BA.

I got the thruxton needles with 130 mains, stock pilots, and the screw are 3 turns out. The air box has been drilled out with (5) 5/8 holes in a diamond patern kind of like dice. I have a unifilter with the snorkle removed, and 18 inch long 2 inch diameter pipes with a 90 degree turn down (no baffles) clamped onto the stock header pipes were the slip on silencers clamp on. I am really close to right or at least as close as one can get without a dyno.

(I am only getting about 40 mpg, but got lotsa power.)

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe
