I had posted earlier that I thought my Right side hanger bolts had rusted through. No rust. Clean. They just fell out. I pulled the pipe, and the threads are clean. Just need to find a couple of bolts that match the lost bolts, and put them in, right? The Left side pipe hanger bolts are tight, but can not be removed. The inserts inside the pipe turn when trying to loosen the bolts, so there is no way to loosen them or remove them. (This makes it that much more of a mystery how the right side bolts got loose.) I did find the proper replacement bolts for the Right pipe, but, upon installation, there is no way to secure them. They can not be torqued down, as the inserts inside the right pipe turn also. So I expect the new bolts will soon fall out again although I did use blue Loctite, but I do not think they are very secure at all at this point. Any ideas? (OTHER THAN buying new pipes?)

Did you try an air impact, sometimes they will over spin the bolt enough to tighten up? The threads, both male and female need be chased for burrs if present.

I would try a star washer between the pipe and mount. it should keep the insert from spinning after it gets a bit tight. Otherwise some green locktite dripped between the pipe and insert and left for a few minutes should hold it enough to tighten the bolt. I don't think super glue will hold... star washer clicky...

I might try the star washer, but I'm not sure that will help. I doubt that most have ever seen a stock pipe separated from the mounting bracket...the "insert" that the bolt threads into in the pipe is recessed inside the pipe, so I don't think the star washer can get a grip on the threaded part that's turning. As for the Green Loctite, I'm not familiar with it, other than seeing it on the package of Blue. Pretty sure I did not see the Green on the parts shelf at the auto supply house.

I'm thinking the same way about an air impact, and will try that. No burrs. The bolts thread in and out smoothly, just can't torque them down.

The insert may be turning. When I took the hangers off some of the pipes I did the bolts wouldn't come out because the insert turned. So I had to ginde the heads off. If they turn when trying to torque them down same would happen, they would just keep turning. I put a small tack weld on 2 sides of each insert, problem solved for me.
