I didn't find much. The cylinders and piston look clean and shiny, no seizure. The con-rods seem slack side to side but are tight vertically, still that's worrisome because I don't remember them being slack at all. The oil lines were hooked up properly so that's not it, either. Since there's an long established Brit bike shop over in Atlanta I'm shipping the bottom end to them to have it redone while I'm at work; he'll let me know what went wrong and I'll get it back before my riding opportunities vanish.
