Sturgis is NOT why you go out there, it is the country. There are a lot of beautiful rides. Everytime I go to Sturgis itself we are only ever in the town for a few hours. A few hours in an entire week ... 2005 we went the last weekend and stayed the following week. Still quite a few bikes around. The week of the rally is an experience if you have never done it. There is like a 200 square mile area that is nothing but people having a good time. I mean I have been out there and where I have not even entered Sturgis itself.

That's what I thought when I saw Sturgis, I thought I was on the HOG site. Jillions of people on Harley's or any bike does not really appeal to me. I wouldn't mind riding up there in the off season though.
