Having said all that, what the real riding comfort factor whilst in a gale, is a backrest. Hands down. (I funcked around on Cinnamon Girl today and realized doing the Achilles rest thing is all about not having to constantly keep your rearend forward in the saddle.) A backrest is a primary farkle.
