Actually, you're somewhat correct there, moe. Yep, especially if somebody has cut down their seat, those mid-pegs of mine(in this case) WOULD bend their knees more than a preferable 90 degrees when they'd place their feet on 'em.

And so, this is why I've added about an inch and a half of foam to my seat, which keeps my knees (32" inseam, here) at just about that 90 degrees when I place my feet upon those mid-pegs.

(...yep, and it's a great feeling and added comfort to be able to sit in that "classic standard riding position" for mile after mile out there on the road, occasionally.)
