I tell ya mate, geez it can be hard to express an opinion in this type of medium. I just wouldn't want you to think anything other than, IMHO of all bikes I think your bike is easily as suited to chrome than any of the others. Particularly being cardinal red etc. They stand out very nicely but I do think one word, Balance is one to remember when evaluating future purchases.

Initially when we get our bikes I think we can chrome up with all these different types of improvements but eventually it gets to a point in time where a theme of some sort is necessary to distinguish your bike from the others.

You know this already otherwise you woukdn't have created this thread to start with. What I found was, it was easy to keep buying chrome toys but what was my bike going to look like if I continued that way. So I decided more black and less chrome from now on. You've heard the saying "black is the new chrome" but only to a point.

So I guess our bikes get to a point where every inclusion does need careful consideration so we achieve the "form AND function" thing happening.

. I'm not sure whether you've done any carb work but if not, it's a piece of pis* mate. That's replacing jets and needles I mean. Getting them to work well all together is another part of the equation altogether.

Actually my best ever dyno was done with SS pipes but I'm not quite there yet with tweaking my own new setup.

Anyway Keith, really looking forward to seeing your new pipes with those red tips - sweet

Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.
