ok boys and girls...Brent and I have a route planned for the ride to Prescott. May 31st well head out and meet up in Pendleton Or, then head to Boise Id. June 1st Boise to Wellsville Ut. June 2nd Wellsville to Kanad Ut. June 3rd Kanab to Prescott Az.

*** I think I like Pendleton the best. All of these plans push back my leave date. I was going to leave Saturday the 28th and go meander my way down, getting there a few days early. But maybe I'll meander my way back instead. 
My plans are all contingent on whether we get a certain project and what day in June it starts if we do get it. So don't plan around me. I should know for sure by mid-April.

Back in my pre-TV, pre-telephone, pre-computer days when I was weaning myself from the red rock cowboy trail by studying sheep nutrition high atop Cedar Mountain 30 miles out of Cedar City, UT I used to occupy my free time in a 14' camper trailer with a c cell radio listening to the Kanab AM radio station advertising Houston's Trail's End Restaurant where the waitreses had "Guns on their hips and smiles on their lips". But I digress.
Be sure to ride US Hwy 89, the scenery and road are excellent. And stop at Houston's for a bite

I am contemplating options if I can make the trip to return going up toward Montana and the way back through the Black Hills and Bad lands. Still all up in the air. All I need is two weeks of time off and I would go through California too...I keep wishing and something is bound to happen.
