"The Town of 1770" was named after the place where Captain Cook first landed in Queensland in 1770 looking for fresh water. Alas he didn't find any as it is just a bay with a small inlet with no fresh water supply.
I went for a ride up there yesterday with a few friends for lunch.
Weather was dry, sunny with a temp. of 31c.
