Why a clip type master? I have a chain breaker if you need one, and it also rivets the new master in place. Real easy to use....

I have to work next Friday (unless I call in), but I do plan on getting up and out before dawn Saturday morning. Without holding up the group or delaying a ride-out, where or how can I catch up with you? I could use phone numbers if anyone wants to PM me theirs, though I know it's useless to try to call while riding.....texts might work though. It will take me 2-3 hours to get from here to Seguin, depending on where in Sequin I'm headed.

Well, looks like my plane will land on Saturday. Somebody send me a message letting me kinda know where and what is happening. Looks like I will make some of this after all.

Well guys I had some unexpected problems arise, and I am not sure I am going to make it now. This quite irritating to me because I was so looking forward to meeting you all.

I very much wanted to do this but im not gonna do a rain ride if i dont have to. and 2 days of grey and rain is not my idea of fun.

Like I said, If things change by Thursday night, I will see.

I hope that you and the family are good.

If its bike problems, its repairable. We will eventually all meet.

Maybe we should concider a rain date. Memorial day weekend is out. its also my 19th anniversery.

Hmmm, weather. Down here ya just don't know. A couple weeks ago my buds and I were up in Freddy's burg with the temps in the mid to high 90s. Went into the Alamo Springs Cafe (a must by the way) and when we came out that cold front had come through and the temps dropped 35 degrees. We were all in tshirts. Had to stop in Luckenbach and buy some long sleeve tourist tees to get home. Chased the front the whole way. Yep, weather.

No big here. The runs aren't going anywhere and I haven't pulled the fish yet. If anyone is coming, I need to know (or we can eat out). My place is always open to you guys if your passing through or whatever.

It may rain a little Friday, but it's going to be a nice weekend. Real nice for riding or camping out.

I'm going to be watching this thread, and watching the forecast, but still am game to ride out of here before dawn Saturday morning if anyone is going to be there to meet.

Accuweather for San Antonio showing bigger threat Friday, but the weekend looks decent.

What I need more than anything is rest, and making this run this weekend won't help that, but I'm all for it if anyone else is. I just did not want to keep the group from a ride out Saturday morning, and know how hard it could be to catch up somewhere later without careful planning. Definitely want to check weather and back on this thread again in 24 hours, and again in 48 hours.....give me a REASON!

Well, its my place - soo, I'll be here regardless and ready to ride. I guess it boils down to Fish fry or dine out. Dine out looks like it might be the option because of the numbers thing. I need to know by Thursday night who's coming to do the fish fry. Otherwise there is a number of good Ole places nearby. If just three are coming, I have indoor accomodations for that number. More if need be.

I have checked the weather all the way down the line. from here to marble falls its storms all weekend. SA may be good on sunday, but trip down and back is covered with thunder storms. I think I will have to bail on this one.

The architect and engineer decided to change this building after I finished building it. So now I gotta work this weekend to change it. I have to start a new building monday. So I am out sorry guys. So goes the best laid plan. I am very angry right now over this ******. Everyone knew I had plans. I should just quit the damned job.

Well, look at it this way,, its a dodgy weekend weather wise, we can all find a time again.

I have some friends in Huston I have not seen in 10 yrs, I may head down that way next month for a visit, then we can all meet up. Maybe Fehorse will want to go south?

I'll check back here tomorrow. We really need to put this together, even if not this weekend.

How many could we expect max if everyone were to come?

well if PauliePFR could ever get his leg out of a cast and his bike back together, we could add him for sure. As I said June is an open for the 3rd and 4th weekends. I have plans for 10-12 June. Ill be on the bike but taking a buddy around Palo pinto and down to Hico to the leather shop
and the Koffee Kup Kafe (sp?? but it is all K's, yep there is a story there)

I would like to maybe make it to Huston that month also.

I woke up fri about 1pm. I was going to call in sick for this but i actually felt like crapola! for a while anyway.

the wife had camping reserved at the local state park. So at least I spent it with my wife and kids. Today was awesome. So after swimming and packing up,, + a few chores, I took my 16 yr old girl for a 65 mile ride.

I agree We need to find a new date!
