You can't just come in here and insult bass players! If we all got back on the mothership an left there would be no more funk or groove. Then how would you get the mrs. in the mood.

Have you tried going to guitar center and getting a bass scale chart and a teaching video.

At his age he needs the personal interaction. I have tried using a few things from youtube, but it will not keep his attention.

Sorry fellas, I did disappear a bit. Been camping on the Guadalupe River. Far as I know everything is still on for the May 20 weekend. You guys can come early or stay longer to see more of the region, up to you. Just need to know if everyone is still coming. (Got your PM Ron).

Camp ground is available and ready. I'll have a couple days of rides planned out with options everyone can look at once we're all gathered. Anything from San Antonio Riverwalk and the Mercado (Market) to the Hill Country runs.

You can cook camp or eat on the road, though I do have an open apartment (soon to be the man cave) with a full kitchen. Depending on the numbers, I have 2 guest rooms and 2 RVs with beds that could put some folks up in some form of style and plenty of acreage for tenting. Send info for details.

Sure. Have plenty of rocks to make a fire ring or two. Never through a rally before, so, any ideas are appreciated. Food shouldn't be a problem. I have plenty of catfish and fryers for a fish fry, grills to cook stuff. Rides shouldn't be a problem. Don't have any t-shirts or pins kind of stuff, but I can give you plenty of stickers and thorns for souveneirs.

I won't let myself miss this, but I'm destined to leave out of here either Friday after work, or early Saturday morning. Most Likely early Saturday, cause i like riding early in the mornings, if not all night into the morning....just have to know where to look for you-all.

Friday Night: Cookout, or dine out. If cookout, dogs, sausage, burgers, ...? Fish fry (I have lots of catfish). I figure some rest time will be in order for a couple of you, so whatever the crowd wants.

How about a current roll call so I can measure how much stuff to prepare? Getting close. Been out touring the roads. Looking great depending on the selection of routes for the ride. Went out to Frdericksburg and Luckenbach, all great there. Motorcycle Museum last month, roads are in fantastic shape. Flowers aren't much due to the dry season. Report on the Sisters is that they are status quo (i.e. bada$$). Have a couple of routes through San ANtonio if that is desired. It's sort of a menu driven rally if you know what I mean.

worst case senario: use a standard 530 chain till you are able to get a "O" ring one. I used a 650 standard chain on my KZ1000 and had no problems.(An I was not the best at keeping the 30 weight gear oil on it!lolol but i did carry it in my bags,,, )
