Partial to the Hill Country myself. Fredericksburg is a favorite, but Marble Falls, Johnson City are good too. Along 290 are a lot of campgrounds and historic stuff.

Out towards Medina is the Lonestar Motorcycle Museum. Not a whole lot to do but ride as the Twisted Sisters are near there.

I have some contacts with cycle dealers and a general apparell shop that would probably get in on it. They're centered around New Braunfels and Wimberly area though. Alamo or Lonestar Triumph might be inclined to get involved, but not sure. Lonestar out of Austin is the better of the two and have a loose, somewhat disfunctional RAT club out there.

As a rally master for a military travel club I know of some caterers and a couple of campground owners as well. Particulary, Bandera and Canyon Lake.

That's my input.
