My work schedule is Up in the air right now, but I am planning to go anyway. Stupid constuction when you're the foreman you can't schedule anything. They call you last minute and say I need you in BFE tomorrow. anyway sorry to rant. I would love to ride out with some guys and have some fun for a while.

OK, so do we move it to the 20th of May? Or do we combine getting together with the BMOA and check out their bikes at the same time?? We could rally in Houston, makes no difference to me. That pushes it really close to SWTF on the 3rd of June if folks are taking off, playing hooky, or whatever. I know I am going to Arizona.
I don't think the Doc can make it the 13th, he needs to get past mid May to get here. Lets get the date and location ironed out.

I don't see why I wouldn't want to ride up to it.

If ya decide to rally in Houston let me know. I know, There is not any good destinations like a motorcycle history museum, but there is some good riding here on the north side with some good places for food and drinks. Of coarse if yall want to join up and go to BMOA together thats cool with me too. I just want to get together and ride.

Either way If we do it the 13th we should hit BMOA together. just let me know. We should also decide on where to meet up at. I vote for a good bar,and grill I personally would like to camp but that don't matter. If you want a hotel I can still camp if I like.

Well get your ticket if you do. The wife is now thinking she may not want to be stuck with the kids the whole time. she thought it was all going to be around the hotel and stuff w/ in walking distance. I told her its a Lee Harveys mainly on Sat. So she may fold on the idea. If she does and you or Pauly want to split the room Ill keep it or maybe Pauly has room for one more,,,,, Pauly its still in the air, Im sending you an E-mail Im excited about this event and the TX one. Do you need thoes Rts? The sisters run will be cool and I have not been to the bike place. But if you want some extra short runs let me know. I think we need to somehow get everyone over AHMEN rd. That last big hump is great! I had full extension on my suspension! Mom in law didnt warn me, it was a but puckering event, then I wanted to turn around and do it again! let me know,,we got a month to figure it out.

OK, the date is May 20-22. Location is Hill Country. I will look for camping and hotels in a central location in the area of New Brunfels TX for easy destination location. In the near future. Friday is a get here day where we will ride out to eat someplace and folks can settle in. Sat: 3 Sisters RideLonestar MuseumIf we don't eat at the museum we can eat hereSun: The Alamo For those who have not seen it, if you are this close you should. Luchenbach Lunch! That should wind us down folks will be staggering out through the day. Schedule is very fluid at this point I am just throwing it up for a model. That Saturday ride is a few hundred miles of crooked road. A lot of riding. Twisted(3)Sisters are legendary bike routes.

We have camping available at no charge in Seguin Texas compliments of FeHorse.
I think this would be the time with a date established to start getting some feedback on who will be attending even if its a maybe. Headcounts help.

For on our deal on the 20th i would love to come and plan to be there. I thought Seguin was west of Dallas, not in the hill country. Thanks for the free camping Mr. Fe Horse.

30 miles east of San Antonio off I-10. Not in the Hill Country, but 20 mins and you're in it. Got a little spread, everyone is welcome. RV, tent, don't matter I have some hook-ups and a lot of space. Details to follow if the location is acceptable to all.

I have the BA.Com Journal, and I need to hand that off to somebody that can get it moving cross-country again. I've had it since the Georgia Rally last year. I thought maybe the New Ulm Rally would be a great place to do it, if anyone from this website attends this year...sometimes it's hard to tell, but I digress. I don't believe I'm going to be able to make it myself this year, as one of my boys is graduating college and ceremonies are that weekend. I'll have family in, and I just can't see cutting loose for a bike rally that weekend. But I might be able to schedule time off after that weekend, and meet up with ya'll in the hill country. That might be doable. One way or another, that journal really needs to get to the SWTF if at all possible. I haven't completely ruled out going myself! Think about it....

This really needs to happen, Ron. I think as close as Chad and I live to one another (Cleveland/Houston), it would be a shame not to get it into his hands at least while it's here. There are other members here in the Houston area, too, that should have a shot at signing in. It really is a nice journal, and I am honored to have had it, and obligated to get it moving again. It was never mean't to stagnate somewhere, and I'm almost embarassed to have had it this long. When you see it, you will understand. Pics of the hand-off are really cool, but not always possible. If you think you may see the journal, have a camera ready! Now that I'm back on two wheels again, I will hook up with Chad, and it sounds like he will be in the Hill Country too this Spring. Let's do this!

Ron, Kieth and I have talked and I'll get it to ya. I plan to be at New Ulm anyway plus I plan to be at our little rally we are planing. Is it the same weekend as the BMOA at New Ulm. If Keith is going I hope him and I can ride together anyway along with any and every one else from Houston. If its either or I would rather go to our little get together either way I'll see ya soon.

I agree, it would be very cool to have a guitar around. I was trying to think if I could get one or 2 over there. I may be able to talk the wife into it,,,, I tell her to go visit her mom, but could she drop off and pick up the guitars?
As far as playing goes, I am usually the guy who screws up Kumbaya I have toys and I like to jam, but Im not very fluent to playing covers. I will say that i am pretty good at following a better player or holding a rythem so the better player can do the impressives stuff
If I can manage it, hows a Fender 12 and a Kamen 6 sound to ya? Just for fun, here is a clip for ya. These were recorded during a dark and dreary time in Cuba. We had been put on a 14 day NO ALCOHOL BAN. So on our night off, we broke into our well stocked closets and put the beer in our coffee cups an played music to daylight!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzFPGKXtLbQ and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSLY6TgzjCU
(little did we know we were playing a tune by Todd Rundgren. Dion (black shirt) ad-libbing the lyrics)
The guy in the red shirt is playing my Kaman and I have the Fender. Oh and if that’s not enough, I have on my Triumph shirt.
I hope I can talk her into it. Between the Rockers V/S Mods and WWTR it is going to be the most bike stuff I have done in 4 yrs!
