OK.... Ive looked into it and found a place that can make them in quantity at a level of quality I would accept as "sale-able" (meaning if Im going to sell something it has to have a level of quality to it that I would expect in a product I was paying money for).
So...if I provided a kit consisting of: * Bracket with tabs already bent. * Three mounting holes would be to size but license plate bolt holes and stem mount holes would be pre-drilled at 1/4" and either you or I could open them up to your specs. * All hardware (screws, nuts, washers) to mount the bracket are provided. No stems, no wiring, you re-use your OEM rubber gasket. * Its aluminum so no paint is needed but I would spray it flat black for you if requested.
Would you pay $30 (shipping included to lower 48)?
In all honesty that covers manufacturing, hardware, shipping and a few bucks for my time.

I think that is very reasonable. I want one but will have to wait a little while till I get some work.

Price seems reasonable but I wouldn't want one just because that isn't the style I have my bike done in.

I would definately go for stainless over aluminum any day. Just because stainless looks better and is much easier to maintain.

Either stainless or aluminum I'd take one. I'll paint it myself if I decided I want that.

Ya now, Z, I should probably move this into the Vendor Forum.
Not till I actually start selling them. I might order a single unit tomorrow to see how it looks. Maybe make an install video or document.

I'd like a black painted aluminum one Z, but wonder if it would look okay with my grifter box?

Id have them all made with tabs then cut them of if not needed.
I had a design all set last night and was going to submit it only to get a bunch of errors. Im trying to work through this.

Will the tabs be centered or the ends (i.e., top or bottom)?

Ive designed it and placed the initial order for tabs at bottom. They cant be centered due to clearance. The plate could be flipped over and drilled to mount the other way (tabs up) if needed.

Oh yeah, I forgot it's not symmetrical, top-to-bottom. I prefer the bottom anyway.

Both bikes have it done. The bike on the left has the tabs to mount the indicators. The bike on the right has the indicators mounted to the fender.

I'm in for one (SS preferred also, but black works) much better price than what's already out there.
Thanks, Drew

for what its worth Rustoleum Satin Black is a black to use. Its got a just a little sheen to it and looks better than flat. I paint my battery brackets with it.
