Soren, if you are living in an apartment then why don't you just call the manager and have them replace it? That's one of the only positive things about being in an apartment (that and no yard work). When things break down they are responsible for replacing them. Heck, I even had a toilet seat crack in an apartment like 20 years ago and they even replaced that, no charge, nothing. Not to mention a dishwasher and an oven. So in the end even more money for the Speedy.
