Micah, I'm glad you brought the two port question up cos IMHO I would have thought tuning each carb separately was obviously a better alternative to both at the same time.

I mean the in the latter single port method, the air fuel readings may be good but in fact one carb may be slightly lean and the other slightly rich to give an average of both.

Some may think two ports may be slightly over the top given both carbs have the same jets etc but I've found it's not uncommon to have different adjustments on my thumb screws showing the carbs are tuned slightly different of each other.

This single sensor a/f is also what my dyno op users with one probe up the spout. Not ideal IMHO which is another reason I want my own a/f gauge.

Thanks for your opinion in confirming the two port arrangement is your preference.
