Welcome to our forum Chris. I'm another Corbin nut and besides the shocks I realized pretty well immediately following my first big ride, if a good seat didn't fix my bum soreness my bike and me were going to have a short relationship.
If there is any down side to a Corbin, it'll be due to it taking a few thousand K's for it to mould into your shape but once there, no pressure points will exist.
