Yeah, what they all said already...
and to add my two cents... drain the tank, drain the bowls, add Seafoam, fill the tank, change (or at least clean) your plugs, remove - inspect (for corrosion) and clean the contacts on the plug wires (both ends) and electrical contacts on the coils. Fire her up and run that tank of fuel through her. Add Seafoam again and run another tank of fuel and enjoy moving forward.

Based on what I learned about Seafoam on here and another site for my Montero, Seafoam works miracles. I add it to a full tank before I put the bike away for the bad/cold weather. I have no need to "store it for the winter" as I may get lucky and ride but if I know she may sit for weeks on end I get that Seafoam flowing and let it sit.
