I'm working on this section on the main web site and it needs some help. I'm not worried about the movies already on the list that are missing photos--I can hunt those down. The problem is that I know there have been Triumphs in movies since 2004 (I added Salt for 2010--Speed Triple--but I need to find images) but 2004 is where the list stops.

So what I need from the hive mind is appearances of Triumphs, any model, in movies since 2004. Here's the existing list. If you want to find images too, that would be great. Mostly I just need the "leads."

2004 | The Punisher
2003 | I’ll Be There
2003 | Torque
2003 | How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
2003 | Johnny English
2003 | Terminator 3
2003 | Dare Devil
2002 | Laurel Canyon
2002 | Femme Fatale
2002 | Tuck Everlasting
2001 | Bubble Boy
2001 | America’s Sweethearts
2001 | Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
2000 | Maybe Baby
2000 | Romeo Must Die
2000 | Mission: Impossible II
1999 | The Matrix
1999 | Pushing Tin
1997 | Heaven’s Burning
1997 | James Dean: Live Fast Die Young
1996 | Barb Wire
1996 | The English Patient
1993 | Nowhere to Run
1993 | Mr. Jones
1992 | Thunderheart
1982 | An Officer and a Gentleman
1973 | Magnum Force
1971 | Diamonds Are Forever
1970 | Angel Unchained
1968 | Where Eagles Dare
1968 | Coogan’s Bluff
1968 | Girl on a Motorcycle
1967 | The Ambushers
1966 | The Swinger
1963 | Bye Bye Birdie
1963 | The Great Escape
1954 | The Wild One

I watched "Five Easy Pieces" on TMC last night (wed.). I hadn't seen it since it was playing in theaters, anyway there is a scene were Jack Nicholson is wearing a Triumph t-shirt.

I think we're keeping it to actual bike sightings.

Didn't the latest Harry Potter movie feature a Bonneville with a sidehack?

"December Boys"

I saw this on an international flight somewhere. It's a 2007 Aussie made flick with Daniel Radcliffe as the draw. As I recall, it's supposed to take place back in the early 60's and I guess they wanted a period looking like bike. Thank god for the Speedmaster, although I guess they didn't bother putting some wire wheels on her to really look more vintage!!

They were before 2004 ??? but
There was a bunch of very forgettable b grade bike movies around the time of "angel unchained" using triumphs too.Used to watch them at the "Drive in" movies."Glory Stompers" is one I vaguely. They were also used by a rival bike gang in the early 1970's Australian movie "Stone".

I watched the movie Burlesque the other day and a Hinkley Bonneville appeared several times on it. Whatever happened to actors being able to actually ride the bikes in these movies?

Well, if we add music video sightings, that's valid. I just have one question.

Who the F is Ke$ha? Besides some trollop.

Wait, nevermind, I don't want to derail this thread.

Well, when they're filming they almost never actually ride. Probably so it's easier to act, and probably mostly for insurance reasons.

But more importantly, why were you watching Burlesque?

Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (2005) (brief glimpse of a Triumph toward the end of the movie)

Lucky You (2007) Eric Bana's character rides a Thruxton

Hell Ride:

There looks like a Hinckley Triumph in the group ride in at the beginning, too.

Roadside Prophets: 1975 Bonneville T-140

And lots of 60s biker flicks.

Oh what have I done? Yikes. Well, all the old stuff is up, although a lot of the images are tiny. It will take some time to sift through all these suggestions.

Thanks guys. Keep'em coming. I'm going to bed.

How's this for a crappy title'Chrome and hot leather"
The good guys were army sargents riding dirt bikes. The bad guys including as usual William Smith[who was in heaps of these 3rd rate bike movies] were on assorted chops.
I think they used a lot of chopped Triumphs in the "biker"movies in those days to "fill up" the scenes as they were cheaper than harleys.
Jeez I feel old remembering all this!

Great catch there, GB! I'm surprised nobody mentioned this before. Yep, in that race scene on the beach near the beginning of this movie, there sure were a few old Meriden Triumphs featured, alright!

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I think that just about covers the lot.
One in there "the hard ride"[no photo] I remember there were definitely Triumph chops in that one.
It's fun looking through that website.
