How they working out for ya? I mean... over the stock bars how's the handling of the bike? I ask this because I've considered buckhorns waaaaaaaay too many times. I ride pretty hard through a great deal of twisties and have been skeptical about the handling, but LOVE the look!!

well,,,first-the comfort cant be beat,i sit up straight,so long rides are alot more comfy on the ole back...as far as handling,,i live in dallas,,,flat land,,,not many turns ,,,but when i take it up to arkansas and new mexico mountains ,,i have no problems,,,granted im not doing alot of high speed turns....they are cheap enough and easy to install so i recomend them (fit with the stock wires etd with a lil persuasion.

I can agree with you about the bars Pauly as I have pullback style bars on my Speedmistress. Talking about comfort have you ever thought about running boards ? My bike had these on it when I bought it and I like the relaxed feel they give.

running boards...on my wish list..but for now-adding cocktail shackers,14"apes,812 progressive shocks, new seat, remove front turn signals ,remove rear chrome foot covers, sprocket cover removal(maybe),relocate plate-brake light-turn signals,,,and maybe bob rear fender...oh yes and removed(total destroyed front mud gaurd in accident already)got some work to do,,,but with a broken leg i gotta lots of time on my hands!! Cheers!

Mate sorry to hear about your spill. It sucks to break a leg. Well at least its an excuse to do stuff to the bike, gotta look at the bright side. Keep the pics coming of your progress, the bike already looks good.

Sorry it took so long to post this, but I'm glad you're over your spill and back rubber down again. All the best.
