it looks like an okay product, I have a tinted visor on my full face helmet, so I probably wouldn't buy one

My tinted visor got all scratched up and I didn't replace it when I got the new helmet (same model) last year. I want to stick with the clear shield because of occasional night riding. So this might just be the ticket. The custom tint I cut out, for my Washington trip in September, sucked.

So far, I have been really impressed by my Sunax. I'm looking forward to riding around the mountains with it. I've had no problems with riding into the sun, unlike before. Installing was not a problem with my HJC lid. You just work the gap a little with an old credit card and then careful slide it in position. Then you can tweak how far it extends to suit your preference. It stays put and seems pretty solid. It doesn't flex and bend in position.
The only thing I didn't like was that I ordered it right after I registered on their website. It turns out, they e-mail you a 3 euro discount code to use on your order. So I ended up paying full price. But still, I really like it.

I would consider using this product if it was cheaper. At $36 to $50 I'll just use my sunglasses.

I wear a full face helmet. When I tried my sunglasses, they either would not fit with the lid on or, if I could squeeze them in, they would fog up something fierce with the face shield down.
What I like about the Sunax is that if I need to shield my eyes from direct sun, it's just a simple very slight tilt of my head down (and I can still safely see wear I'm going). When riding in the mountains this summer, I ride through areas of shade followed by bright sun (and even a tunnel). Wearing sunglasses would be trickier in that scenario. I fully expect the Sunax will work brilliantly.
Besides, most quality sunglasses cost US$35 to US$50 or even much, much more.
Just my opinion.

I'm for whatever makes it easier to keep this site going and buy decent web space. Ads are everywhere, I even purchase the occasional advertised item and try to support website sponsors.

Good to know. I still have to order one. Heck, I still have to tell them how much I want for advertising.

Oui, c'est formidable n'est-ce pas?
FJ, don't forget that after you register on their website to check your e-mail before you order. They send you a 3 euro discount that you can apply to the purchase. I discovered this after the fact!! Grrrrr...

you can't beat the cost of a few square inches of window tinting film from walmart and a half hour with scissors!
