It is known that some of the triples use the same rods as the twins and the triples run much higher revs. I've had my Bonnie up to 9,000rpm many times on the dyno while testing, with no problems so far. But as BO2S4 says, unless you've had extensive tuning work done, the power has gone before these high revs.
