You cannot physically disconnect the rev limiter. Not all is lost though. Ken's link provides a way to reprogram your CDI unit for a higher rev limit through Triumph Twiin Power (Pieman's services) (I had mine upped to 8500 rpms a couple of years ago with no problems). The other option is to purchase a Procom unit which is fully programmable yourself.
