Keith, in an ideal world and with good people what you say is true. However and saddly we live in a very jaded world full of narcasistic morons who will attempt to justify their actions insteed of owning the responsibility.
Granted the motorcyclists probably needed immediate attention that takes priority over the retarded cagers punishment. A punishment that should be sevier and exacted in a timely manner not months later in court, and not some reckless indangerment charge either. Attempted manslaughter or murder. However I am not a big fan of the penal system its not fast and it creates "repeat offenders" rather than making them want to quit breaking the law.
