He should be prosecuted for attempted man slaughter.
Hey Chad!
If you're not gonna beat him up, I will
I dare not say anything violent round here lest I get chastized by Keith.
Ya see, the thing is... it's quite possible this guy feels remorse for his lack in sound judgment. If the cager has any conscience at all he's gonna feel bad... REAL bad for a long, long time because he knew he fugged up... BIG TIME. It's nature's way of self learning. Now, I think it's safe to say that just about all of us have done something real stupid... case in point, Dwight's story about riding the Sprint. Sometimes we get away with it, sometimes we don't. This guy didn't get away with it.
I'm not suggesting the guy should be set free of any and all consequence... but I am saying it's highly likely the consequence factor set right at the moment of the accident. I remember when my brother once hit a pedestrian (who wasn't hurt too bad) and he was real messed up for a long time after that, even though it wasn't his fault.
A knee jerk reaction is to want to kill the guy. At times like that it bears prudence to remain calm and attend to the most vulnerable (victims)... then let society deal with the driver as it may. Hopefully... HOPEFULLY he wasn't drunk!
Live to love, love to live.
