Yep, who know?! Maybe something very similar to this could eventually replace many wheelchairs in use today.
As a Service Officer with the Disabled American Veterans, I know plenty of guys that would like something a bit more access friendly. No vehicle lifts to install. Doorways to be widened, the list goes on.
Practicality aside, designing a stable upright system is pretty cool. Unicyclers are probable excited as heck. They have their own machine now.
