Any recommendations?

If your running a Mac get the iMovie software. Cheap and easy with a few features.

I dont know what works and is cheap for Windows.

AmyLee purchased the Power Director 9 by CyberLink for creating videos with 64 bit and editing, so far so good. We will have it along at the SWTF.

My GoPro captured me wiping out and breaking my clavicle while mountain biking in Moab, UT, last year.

Thx Z. The kayaking video is great. Were some of those shots done with a still camera.

Yes, I mixed in a few stills.

I've been thinking about a helmet cam for a few years now, and this looks like a good buy. Thanks.

Zmilin:

I've ordered a GoPro, but it has been backordered for a few weeks.

Meanwhile, I have a Mac also, and it has two ancient versions of iMovie on it: One is simply called iMovie '08, the other is called iMovie HD version 5. I've never used this software, and I assume that it came bundled on my iMac that I purchased in late 2006.

Do you think this version is good enough, or should I upgrade to the fancy version available now? Thanks.
