I think your bike turned out BADAZZ!!! I love the way it all looks together with the bonny tank, relocated bat, and all the custom touches. Seriously sweet, man.

Dood! That looks exactly like the house I lived in on Johnson Lane in HB back in the 90s.
Except there was a 1982 Honda CB900C in the driveway then...

The speedo is a Drag superficialities...I plan to review the seat later after I take a 300 mile ride...right now 60-100 miles the seat is very comfortable....

Nice looking bike!
Have you considered Black powder coat for the wheels?

This has GOT to be the biggest complement you could get!

It takes a LOT to get Swiwi to say ANYTHING.

Honestly, looks great! Loosing a couple hundred pounds gets the power to weight ratio just where it needs to be.

Just noticed,
You gotta take that front fender bracket off. If I havent died yet without it on mine I think you'll be safe. I think its been 2+ years & 5000miles now since I took it off.

I left the bracket on based on the advice of BAMoto (the guys I take the bike to for work)...I did ride it with out the bracket I didn't really notice much difference...may try it in the future

I once got advice from triumphdetroit about it, he said it was more crucial when youre zipping turns doing 120.

I got cut springs, weigh 250, and ride roads in NJ...you'll be fine...haha

(disclaimer: the above advice is for novelty purposes only. A safe biker is a happy one. The term "everybody's doing it" is more dangerous than removing structural members from your motorcycle. Act accordingly)

That seems right about the turns...I could understand how one side would track different than the other side in a turn...Now I have 11.5" sporter shocks in the rear and progressive lowering kit in the front...so I don't think I will be doing many 120 mph turns....I will take it off and see what happens...the other idea I had was to do a "Rollan Sands" look by drilling some holes in it (large going to small) and cutting it down smaller

Yeah I was hesitant at first when I took my fender off. Kinda thought it'd be a little "mad max" looking. But then figured theres been a billion bikes in the past without them doing just fine.

One other think I have been thinking is getting a box the same size as the battery and putting it in the Battery Relocation Kit then changing over to one of the small sport bike batteries and putting all the electrical in the box also

Yeah I thought I read something about those ducati guys using smaller batteries or something? I always wanted nothing to show under the seat.

Here is just one: http://www.ballisticparts.com/ As I understand not really good for cold weather starts but here at da beach in CA I am fine...the battery just has to start the bike after that the charging system takes over...

When I bought my current battery they didn't have a direct replacement (Batteries Plus) but they had a thinner version (same width and height). They claimed it had the same specs, CCA, etc. But I'm skeptical.

Yeah same with me. Batteries are important, and the new ones seem too fragile. Definately a bandwagon purchase for me...haha

From what I have read is they are not good cold weather carnkers...The best set up would be a cut off for the head light and a carb. bike. That way the only electrical requirement is starting..and if it is well tuned it should fire in one or two cranks...after that you are running on the charging system. There may be a problem if you are at idle for long periods of time, usually, the charging system is not producing enough power so some comes from the battery. Above idle the system is producing more power (assuming standard load) than needed go some goes to the battery to recharge it the rest is wasted to heat.

Might consider

Being as you want a smaller footprint (and you gain considerably less weight as a bonus) They don't make our oem size though. Such is a yuasa being in mine.
