Hmmmm...well...I know of the classic "Speed TWIN" of your, err, yore...but that's about the ONLY thing in THIS regard that I know that's "steeped"!!!
(...well, besides a "spot of tea" that is, ol' boy!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

"Speed" Twin, "Speed" Triple, "Speed" master. In the words of Tevye: "Tradition"!
Seems to me there was a limited non-OEM or perhaps a one off called Speedmaster some time in the past.

I have been hanging around for almost three years now and keeping an eye on all of you. Let me tell you that I have found all of you to be a great source of reliable information, a down to earth group, yet somewhat crazy, and that BA.com is truly a great site dedicated to America and Speedmaster owners.
Can I use this quote on the homepage?

Are the blue and white ones faster?????? That's controversial...... I'd have to disagree....Black and Silver are. Quote:

Ted, Welcome.
Speed? Colour? How about both? Cinnamon Girl is a sassy home run. She is faster than Vera Lynn, but then again Vera is a little older (and wiser) and Vera is stock. Sure Vera has some scepters (she is a Dame after all). Yet Cinnamon Girl is the faster one. Don’t know why, but she turns heads. The week I rode her home from Brian TX she received more compliments on her demeaner and beauty than Vera had during the prior 5½ years. What is it with redheads? Jeez. I do know that Red heads are harder to anesthetize, just ask your local anesthesiologist. They have a betterer stamina in evening activities too.
Having blabbed away for too long, I will confess that when Shaun (nobby) lowered his side stand in Cape Canaveral years ago on his Caspian Blue with Silver infill America, well let’s just say that Mona Lisa stormed off and pouted in one of the Louvre basement closets.

Welcome to the Treehouse, leave your sanity at the door. As far as color: They don't offer it anymore, but the obvious best is a Speedmaster in STEELERS! colors.

Well, Ted welcome to the circus, hope you got a since of humor. That is can take a joke, some guys around here are merciless.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Welcome to the brotherhood Ted! Don't listed to all these guys about which color is fastest... we are all proud of our bikes whatever the color or configuration (the black ones are the fastest by the way).

Hey Ted, nice to have you aboard this looney bin. I'm kind of a newbie to the BA sight myself... I've not yet met any of the members here....but just going on the advice/comentary and the endless madness I read here they seem like a bunch of pretty cool pilgrims all the same! BTW....the Black 07 Americas' ARE the fastest!!!!... had to chime in with my 50 cent's worth don't cha know
